Common causes of low back pain

While some people suffer from long term chronic back pain there are thousands more who suffer from very mild back pain that comes and goes, it might be trigged by a sudden movement that brings it on for days until it leaves. These smaller back pain events are there to help you avoid leading to something major – they are trying to catch your attention and there are things you might be doing that you can avoid:

  • Sitting in your car and driving in a hunched or incorrect position
  • Lifting packages or bags
  • Sleeping on an old mattress that no longer supports you
  • Sitting slouched in a chair
  • Standing badly
  • Not being physically fit

All of these things cause low back pain and can be corrected immediately making sure it doesn’t lead on to something worse.
