
Gavin
Routledge is the Clinic Director. He practises in Edinburgh and the Gyle
clinics. His particular field of interest is the management of low back
pain; his first book "The Back Book", written in collaboration with Gavin
Hastings OBE was published in 1997; it was republished in 2002 as "Self
Help for Backs". He also provides occupational seminars aimed at decreasing
the risk of developing musculoskeletal disorders.

Paul
Prevot graduated with a BSc Hons(Ost) in 2004. He joined us shortly after
that and has shown himself to be a mature and keen osteopath. He employs
a wide range of techniques
Massage Therapists
Fiona McKenzie originally graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences from Napier University. Fiona has moved through Financial Services into Massage. She is qualified in Advanced Remedial Massage, Sports Massage, Therapeutic Massage and Slavic Massage. She works part time in the Edinburgh clinic, and also has her own business, McKenzie Massage Therapy, based in East Linton.
Christine Black is a graduate of the Scottish Massage Schools. Qualified in Remedial & Sports Massage, On-Site Massage and Swedish Massage, her interest in massage stems from her youthful sporting background. She was a junior international athlete and held the Scottish record for the 70metre hurdles. She is particularly interested in sports related conditions and is looking forward to specialising in this field.
Lynne Mollison believes massage should be an integral
part in everyone's life.
This desire has led her to promote massage within
Active X Clinics, charity/sport events, corporate days
and festivals.
Lynne is qualified in Swedish, On-site, Remedial and
Sports massage. She also has a BSc(Hon) in Applied
Microbiology and Biotechnology and nine years working
experience in Public Health."
Physiotherapists

Frances Harris, Chartered Physiotherapist, recently moved back to Edinburgh
from London where she had a busy Private Physiotherapy Practice. Very
active within her profession she has run many Courses and Conferences for
Physiotherapists and the Public. Frances treats both doctor referred and
self referred patients, and those with private medical insurance. Her
particular interest is helping to resolve and prevent recurrence of a
patient’s problem by offering prompt treatment through the availability of
flexible appointment times, a wide range of treatments, advice and
rehabilitation tailor made to meet the needs of the individual patient.
Non-clinical staff

Practice Manager and
Receptionist Moira Gibbs joined the practice in 2000 and runs a "tight
ship". She is always willing to please and will do her best to secure
a prompt appointment for you. Please call her between 8.45am and 4.45pm
Monday to Friday (you may ocassionally get the answer machine if she's
treating herself to a rare break!).
